Scottie expertly put a banana peel on the floor before squaring up for his jumper. By my estimate, Air Jordan must have said "Beam me up, Scottie" over a million times while playing with Mr. Pippen. Or a hundred. Give or take.
Scottie played college ball at NAIA school University of Central Arkansas. The NAIA National Championship tournament is played every year at the glorious Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City. It's totally crazy.
Basically it is a battle royale between 1,000 (another give or take) different teams over six days. I went to the championship game a few years ago and took some pics.
I'm watching you, boy.I found out later that the older gentleman standing up was the head coach's father. The dad was hollering at his son all night. It must have worked though because his team won the title.
