What can I say about Paul that he hasn't already said about himself? Well, I've got a few things I guess. I thought I'd start with how I met Paul. We were both starring in a nice little play about day and night called The Nightman Cometh. You can catch our old troupe in action just by clicking on this link.
After the play's run ended, we wrote some material for the comedian Dave Chappelle. He was stomping through our town in Columbia, MO where we were students at Mizzou and Paul wowed him with the number of sandwiches he downed from Jimmy John's. After hearing some witty repartee between Paul and I regarding lobster claws, he asked us to join the tour. Our time on the tour lasted one gig.
Last year I took the plunge into wedded bliss and was very glad that Paul and Lauren were there to witness how two serious people do not imitate Kanye West at a reception. Judging from Lauren's hilarious telling of Paul's work Christmas party from a few years ago, I think the wedding and reception will be a sophisticated affair for one and all.
In all seriousness, Paul and Lauren are a tremendous couple and great friends; I can't wait to see them married. Until that day comes, happiness and lack of dance fighting to you all:- Patrick Losson
